Dubai is probably one of the most happening places in the world. The Emirate outdoes itself every year with more of everything, taller buildings, larger pedestrian areas, more natural wonders, shopping malls, and hotels. When it comes to tourist attractions, Dubai has some of the best in the world and 2018 will not be an exception.
Here are 6 Dubai destinations to open next year and why you should be excited about them:
The frame can be seen bordering the city of Dubai from its spot in Zabeel Park right now, but next year you’ll be able to ride in a panoramic elevator that takes you up to the 150-meter-high bridge to admire the stunning views of the old and new Dubai.
This destination will most likely become one of the most popular Dubai tourist places.
The design of Dubai Frame was selected as the winner of the 2009 ThyssenKrupp Elevator International Award from 926 proposals.
Mohammed bin Rashid Library
Utilizing the latest technologies; Mohammed bin Rashid Library is one of the top attractions we’re looking forward to seeing in 2018. The project is a mixture of cultures where you will be able to find live presentations, documentaries and lectures from all over the world, including a huge electronic library database that is linked to other global libraries, so that researchers and curious minds can have access to rare sources of information.
Construction of the seven-story building is underway in Al Jaddaf (across the Creek from Dubai Festival City).
The overall shape of the library is said to resemble a Rehl – a traditional lectern which holds the Quran.
Dubai Safari will not only replace the current Dubai Zoo, but it is going to be a new model to copy in the region and the world, as it aims to spread awareness about endangered species and the overall welfare of animals. Dubai Safari is part rescue center from which some animals will be released to the wild, and part breeding program of some animals.
Dubai Safari will be home to 2,500 animals. The new zoo is worthy of visiting for education and entertainment.
As one of Dubai’s top attractions to open in 2018, it makes us even more excited that the entry to Dubai Safari is affordable; costing just AED30 for children and AED85 for adults to access all the villages.
Well, don’t skip this one because it says mall.
Cityland Mall is nature-inspired and will feature botanical wonders. It will house a 200,000-sq. ft. open-air garden, a mini water park and a mini Miracle Garden among other natural amusements.
CityLand is expected to be one of the top places to visit in Dubai for its unique design which combines shopping, fine dining, and entertainment in one nature-inspired place.
You will get to experience the best of indoor and outdoor worlds at CityLand Mall in 2018.
